I used to be a taker
Now I am a giver
I used to be an arrow
Now I am a quiver
I used to be a teacher,
Now I am in school
I used to be a legalist
Now I break all the rules
I used to be the rejecter
Now I accept all things
I used to be the judge
Now I am the freed
I used to be a hater
Now I am in love
I always use to lower my head
Now I look above
I used to be the fretter
Now my troubles I accept
I used to be the critic
Now criticizing I reject
I used to be just human,
with just a touch of divinity
Now I know I am devine
Born of peace and serenity
I used to be discouraging
Now encouragement I engage
I used to be an actor
Now I am the stage
I used to run from feelings
Now I pray that I may feel
I used to cause injury
Now I lay hands to heal
I used to try to prove things
Now I am the proff
I used to be a liar
Now I tell the truth
I used to be afraid of death
Death now I embrace
I used to try to look real young
Now I enjoy my face
I used to be separate
Now I am a part.
I was oh so callus
Now I have a broken heart
I used to be an earthling
Defined by what I see
Now I am a alien,
surfing galaxies.
I used to be a complainer
Now all I do is praise.
I used to be a doer
Now I sit and pray.
I used to be self centered,
Feeling incomplete
Now I am God centered,
A part of all celestial beings
I used to be the sad one.
Now all I do is smile
I used to be a talker.
Now silence suits me fine.
I used to be so reserved
Now I’m stark raving wild
I used to be all grown up
……Now I am a child!!!
“Used to be”…is key here For it means it’s PAST , you see.
For I have discovered Gods’ DNA , is alive and well in me !!!
